Welcome to the new food blog “Ah Bian’s Siksin Road”. Hello everyone, my name is Ah Bian. Me is a fanatic food lover and my only mission is definitely to hunt the GOOD food. To compile all of my ‘makan’ experience so far, Me decided to create this food blog and share those good food with everyone XD

Errrrr actually me has no relationship with Mr. Chen... me is purely 100% ‘produced’ in Malaysia hehehehe :D Me is called ah bian just because me did impersonate Mr. Chen before, and everyone started calling me ah bian after that.

其实小编和阿扁前总统并没有关系，小编可是100%道道地地的本地人呐。之所以会被叫‘阿扁‘，其实是因为之前曾经模仿过阿扁前总统，故得此名。

Why you blog is titled as ‘Siksin Road’?

为什么你的部落格的标题命名为“食神上路”？

A

The meaning of Siksin at here is “The lord of eating”. Me have set a goal which is to enjoy all the delicious and special food around the world, and become a real gourmet. Actually this title is ‘inspired’ by one of the korea food programme “Siksin Road” (Gourmet Road, 식신로드), which is hosted by Jeong Jun-ha, one of the famous korean gagman.

食神，意即“味道品尝的最上位者”。小编的其中一个心愿就是尝遍世间所有的美食，成为一个真正的食家，故有一词“上路”——踏上路程。其实这个名称，取材自由韩国谐星郑俊河所主持的偶像美食节目“食神上路”（Siksin Road, 식신로드)。

There are so many food blogs around, what is your special feature in your blog?

网上有那么多的美食部落格，你的又有什么特别呢？

A

Errrr... actually i just wanna share my experiences of tasting those good food.... special features? many tables loh. The information and details of the food stall are written in table format for better presentation. Everyone can get the info easily from the details in table. And more of pictures and lesser words loh XD

Errrr..... 其实我只是想与大家分享好味道而已喔..... 特别的？噢，所有关于食肆的资料，例如地址、价格种类等，将会以表格形式呈现，一目瞭然。读者们可轻易地从表格中获取想要的资讯。还有还有.... 图多字少... XD

Do you always hunt food with friends?

你会时常和朋友去找吃吗？

A

Yeah, it is. me have few groups of friends who like the good food also and we will have a short food hunt trip occasionally. Normally we will hunt food around Klang Valley area. And since me come from JB, me will have the food hunting gathering with my JB friends too. We will have a long distance food hunting trip to such as Penang, Kuantan and Melaka for every two to three months. Therefore, you will not only see those food recommendations from Klang Valley and JB, but also any corner around Malaysia.

其实我身边有好几群跟我一样爱吃的朋友，平时不定期在吧生河流域一带寻找美食。而且我其实是新山人，在新山也有我的kaki。每两三个月我们也会有所谓的美食游，前往槟城，马六甲，关丹等地寻找好吃的。所以在这里，你可以看到全马各地不同的美食。

Yeah sometimes they will give some comments on the food, and they are quite straightforward on it. If the taste is awful, they will shout immediately in the restaurant and never visit the shop next time. You can see their comments on the food in this blog as well. To protect their identity, me will address them as 'Agent'.

是啊。他们也会评论自己所品尝的食物，而且他们的评语相当直接。如果味道太差，会在店内直接大喊难吃，然后掉头走人，永不光顾。所以在这里，你也可以看到他们所给的主观评语。为了保护他们的身份，小编会在这里称呼他们作‘特务’。

Hahaha... It is just a codename to address these friends. Different friends (agents) will have different codename in short form. For some of the friends who knows a lot of makan place, me will address them as ‘Masters’. You will see their recommended foods at here too.

哈哈哈...其实这只是对朋友们的代号而已。不同的朋友（特务）会有不同的称呼代号。对于一些很会找吃的朋友，他们会被称呼为‘大师’。这里也会有大师们所推荐的美食喔。

Any other special features on this blog?

这个部落格还有什么特别的地方吗？

A

Every shop posted here will be rated by me and other agents/masters and will be shown at the end of the article. The rating parameters will be based on cleanliness, serving attitude and quality, freshness of ingredients, taste, value for money of the food, etc. These ratings from the agents/masters are coming from their own feeling on the food, and it will become a reference to every reader.

在这里所介绍的店家在每篇文章最尾都会有小编和特务/大师们的主观评分。评分会依照店家的整洁、服务态度、食材新鲜度、味道、性价比（给了这么多钱值不值得）等等。这项评分完全是按照小编和特务/大师们对食物的完全主观感觉而评定的，藉此作为各位读者的参考。

Other than that, we will have some special columns come with certain goals and achievements. For example, Guang Ming Daily had elected the top 20 Bak Kut Teh stalls in Peninsular Malaysia on 2006. Me is thinking to visit these 20 stalls and find out the reason that they are eligible to be shortlisted on the ranking. How is the taste of their bak kut teh? Why their taste is able to attract so many food lovers to visit them? Me would like to find out the fascination of their bak kut teh.
